Roger Allen Logan, 81, widower of Linda Lou Iverson Logan, went to be with the Lord, June 25, 2023.
Mr. Logan was born in Richlands, VA to the late Cooley Logan and Bernice Helen Pendergrass Logan. He enjoyed cutting grass and doing yard work, working on cars and watching wrestling. Roger liked westerns and was a Roy Rogers fan. He loved horses and collected horse figurines as well as coffee cups. Roger will be greatly missed by his family, his friends, his caregiver and “brother”, Paul Braman, and his beloved horses, Blue and Walker.
Surviving, are three sons, Richard Logan, Ronald Logan and Roger Logan (Brenda); a sister, Rita Sloan; nine grandchildren, Kimbearly and Corey Smith, Kyle Logan, Tiffany Pruitt, Krystallin and Qasem Almarhoon, Amanda Logan, Brandon Wolownik and Dani Wyatt; four great-grandchildren, Katrina and Serene Almarhoon, Novalee Harlan and Oliver Wolownik and his niece, Robin Udell (Freddie). He was predeceased by a niece, Angie Sloan.
Funeral Services will be 2pm Thursday at Beech Springs Church. Burial will follow at Gray Court City Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
