Obituary of Dorothy Ann Thompson

Dorothy “Dot” Ann Thompson, 69, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 1, 2023. She was born in Woodruff to the late Earle Wright Thompson and Lou Ann Leroy Thompson. Dot enjoyed trips to Charleston, visiting historical sites and being “Gi- Gi” and “Grandma” to her grandchildren. Surviving, are two sons, Robert Galloway (Shannon), and Ricky Galloway; a sister, Judy Woods; seven grandchildren, Angeline Middleton, John Middleton (Hayley), Emilee Galloway, Zach Galloway, Josh Galloway, Sterling Galloway, and Lilka Galloway; two great-grandchildren, Zoey Hood, and Paisley Middleton. She was predeceased by two brothers, David Thompson and D.J. Thompson; and a sister, Irene Thompson. A Celebration of Dot’s Life will be 2 o’clock Saturday at Fletcher Funeral Service. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
