Obituary of Kevin Cooper
Kevin Cooper, 56, husband of Kelli Ann Meredith Cooper, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 19, 2023.
Mr. Cooper was born in Fountain Inn to the late Bruce Holland Cooper and Emily Harriet Brown Cooper. He was a member of First Baptist Simpsonville and a co-owner/operator of CEC Tool Company. Kevin was a life-long fireman, currently serving as the Safety Officer and Board President of Durbin Creek Fire & Rescue. He also served many years at the Donaldson Fire Department and the East Simpsonville Fire Department. He was a member of the South Carolina Fire Fighters Association. Kevin was a devoted husband, father and expectant grandfather. He loved music and his Clemson Tigers football team.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Christopher Cooper with fiancé Carrie; a brother, Scott Cooper; a soon-to-be-here grandson, Wyatt Cooper; an uncle and aunt, Curtis and Faye Cooper; cousins, Todd Griffith with wife Kim, and Wade Griffith with wife Kim; and his beloved Labrador “Trigger”.
Services will be private and will be conducted by Rev. Scott Lawson, Andy Sloan, and Paul Taylor.
