Obituary of Faye Suttles
Elizabeth Jewell Faye Leopard Suttles, 91, widow of Melvin Glen Suttles, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 28, 2023.
Mrs. Suttles was born in Simpsonville to the late Jesse Deloma Leopard and Lillie Estelle Bragg Leopard. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and retired from Woodside Mills. Faye enjoyed working in the garden and cutting grass. Her favorite hobby over the years was watching Redbirds and Hummingbirds.
Surviving are a son, Jesse Suttles; two daughters, Brenda Gibson with husband Robert, and Darlene Suttles; a brother, Jesse Leopard with wife Judy; and five grandchildren, Buster Babb, Crystal Burnett with husband Adam, Nolan Suttles, Kenneth Suttles, and Darla Deal with husband Cheyenne. She was predeceased by a brother, Aaron Leopard; a sister, Ruby Hyman; and a granddaughter, Amie Cordova.
A Celebration of Faye’s Life will be 2 o’clock Monday at Fletcher Funeral Service. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Burial will be in Cannon Memorial Park. Pallbearers are, Buster Babb, Cameron Leopard, Travis Leopard, Kenneth Suttles, and Nolan Suttles; Honorary Pallbearers are, Cheyenne Deal and Rodney Leopard.
The family would like to thank Halcyon Hospice and Agape Care Hospice for the compassion and care given to Faye and the family.
