OMG! So many memories of Aunt Pat. From way way back when I was a young person. I remember thinking how beautiful and elegant my aunt Pat was. And her laugh, with that soft southern charm of hers. After mom passed on is when I really started getting much closer to her. A lot of phone calls over the year’s just staying in touch with her and uncle Wayne. And a few very accommodating overnight visits at their home. One funny memory is when aunt Pat and uncle Wayne visited my mom in Texas. I walked into the house and caught aunt Pat on her knees in the bathroom scrubbing the toilet with a sponge, some Ajax cleanser, and her bare Hands!! I was like omg aunt Pat, get your hands out of that toilet! She acted like it was nothing! I was like there is a toilet brush right there! So funny! After that, we were in the kitchen and she was making fried egg sandwiches and asked me if I wanted one. I told her yes, but that I’d make it myself. LOL. She couldn’t wash her hands enough to satisfy me and make my sandwich. So funny! In ending, I myself am comforted in believing with all my heart that my aunt Pat is now with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. With a brand new body, feeling absolutely no more pain and suffering, only an indescribable everlasting love that all believers will get to experience for eternity when we move on from this world. So, in saying that, Aunt Pat, I love you and I’ll see you later. Tony
