Thomas Lee “T.L.” Brown, husband of the late Ortha Mae Epps Brown, 90, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 23, 2023.

Mr. Brown was born in Moore’s Mill, MS to the late John Henry Brown and Mae Bell Gentry Brown.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from Blue Bell Company (the forerunner of Wrangler jeans).  T.L. was passionate about his career as a trucker.  He took great pride in his safe driving record and served many years as a Driving Instructor and Trainer for Blue Bell.  He enjoyed square dancing and watching the stock market programs.  He was a fan of NASCAR, the Charlotte Hornets, the Carolina Panthers, and the Atlanta Falcons.

Surviving are three daughters with their husbands, Maria and David Schronce, Martha and Robbie Durham, and Renea and Kelley Heath; six grandchildren, Lyndsey Ensley with husband Brett, Stephen Heath with wife Lauren, Jake Heath, Dustyn Durham with wife Adri, Dylan Durham with girlfriend Kristin, and Anna Heath; four great-grandchildren, Titus, Mills, Roman and Wilder; and many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a sister, Fay McKinney.

A Celebration of T.L.’s Life will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Fletcher Funeral Service.  Burial, with Military Honors, will be in Greenville Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
