Obituary of Betty Dean Garrett
Betty Dean Reynolds Garrett, 96, widow of Keener Romayne Garrett, Sr, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, December 6, 2023.
Mrs. Garrett was born in Gastonia, NC to the late John and Lucile Reynolds. She was a member of Northside Methodist Church and the Greenville Women’s Club. Betty Dean loved to travel, especially to Myrtle Beach. She was a good Christian woman, a wonderful wife and a loving mother and Nana who adored her family.
Surviving, are a son, Keener Garrett Jr and wife Janice; two grandchildren, Erin Garrett and Tabatha Mathis; three great grandchildren, Beckett Gadberry, Josh Mathis and Taylor Mathis and a nephew, Gary Garrett. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Kendra Garrett.
The family would like to say a special Thank You to Bobbie Harper and team for the wonderful care and compassion they had while taking care of Betty Dean.
The family will receive friends between 1 - 2 p.m. Monday at Fletcher Funeral Service.
Graveside Services will be 3 o'clock Monday, December 11th, at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
