Obituary of Alvin Lockhart

Alvin Dean Lockhart, 77, husband of Jeannette Harvey Lockhart for 52 years, went to be with the Lord, Friday, December 29, 2023.

Mr. Lockhart was born in Amboy, WV to the late Curtis Eugene Lockhart and Gladys Price Lockhart.  He was a US Army veteran who served in Vietnam.  He enjoyed hunting, browsing on Facebook Marketplace and Direct TV.  Alvin’s greatest love was his family.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Curtis Lockhart (Sherri); four grandchildren, Diamond Lockhart (Billy Crowder), Jonathan Lockhart, Amber Tapley and Allison Schofield; five great-grandchildren, Chelbi Lockhart, Jayden Babson, Emberlyn Schofield, Paisley Tapley and Weston Harrell; a sister, Donna Bachtel and a special niece, Cathy Eaves.  He was predeceased by a brother, Roy Lockhart.

The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Tuesday at Fletcher Funeral Service.
