Obituary of James Page

Please share a memory of James to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Lucas James Page, 23, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 29, 2023.

Mr. Page was born in Greenville to Reginald Dan “Reggie” Barnett and Cynthia Denise Page.  He attended Hillcrest High School and worked at Refresco.  James was animal lover at heart and was known to his family and friends as the cat whisperer.  He was an artist by nature with sketching and drawing being his concentrations.  James was a poetic writer and music enthusiast.  His favorite hobby was being a gamer with his peers.

Surviving, in addition to his father and mother, are his second mom, Crissy McBride; four brothers, William Moore with wife Bridget, Tyler Barnett, Cameron Barnett, and Landon Barnett; paternal grandmother, Diane Evett; three nephews, Skylar Rich, Micah Page, and Arlo Moore; a niece, Remi Moore; and his beloved cat “Sparda”.  He was predeceased by a brother, Patrick Page; paternal grandfather, Donnie Evett; maternal grandmother, Patricia Page; and maternal grandfather, Richard Page.

A Celebration of James' Life will be between 5 – 7 o’clock Wednesday at Fletcher Funeral Service.

In response to great need, James' organ donation was instrumental in saving five lives.  It brings our family comfort to know that others will live and benefit from such sacrifice.

Memorials may be made to The account of Pet Haven of South Carolina, AKA SC Pet Haven, Wade Hampton Veterinary Clinic, 2412 Wade Hampton Blvd, Greenville, SC 29615.
