Laura is survived, in addition to her devoted partner of 30 years (John), by a daughter, Kristian (Krissie) McCuen; a brother, James Joseph Pollaro (Claire Perez); and a sister, Denise Pollaro as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was pre-deceased by her parents, Santo and Helen, and her former husband Noel Leroy Sova.

Romans 8:38-39: "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
