Obituary of Danny Rhodes

Danny Edward Rhodes, 70, husband of Rosetta Kates Rhodes for 43 years, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 20, 2023.

Mr. Rhodes was born in Woodruff to the late Jack Edward Rhodes and Vivian Marie Ford Rhodes.  He began his career at Reeves Brothers Cotton Mill and retired from Inman Mills.  Danny enjoyed fishing, working on cars, and sharpening knives and swords – which he also collected.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are three sons, Stacy Godfrey with wife Christy, Jason Rhodes with wife Nikkie, and D.J. Rhodes; a daughter, Angie Rogers with husband Chris; a brother, Jimmy Rhodes with wife Kim; a sister, Linda Rhodes; fifteen grandchildren, Tyler, Haven, Brittney, Kat, Makayla, Ernie, Blake, Kiera, Nathan, Victoria, Shelby, Kaden, Connor, Morgan and Autumn; and four great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Danny’s Life will be held at a later date.
