Obituary of Audrey Morrison

Audrey Lee King Morrison, 81, widow of Jimmy Samuel Morrison, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 12, 2024.

Mrs. Morrison was born in Greenville to the late Guy Benjamin King and Margaret Mercedes Nash King.  She was a member of Durbin Creek Baptist Church and the Cletus Williams Sunday School Class.  Audrey enjoyed singing at Senior Living facilities, yardwork, flower gardening, and thrift shopping at Goodwill.  Her greatest joy was being a Memaw to her grandchildren.

Surviving are a daughter, Conni Holcomb; a daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Morrison; a brother, Steve King with husband Phillip; five grandchildren, Whitney Snow with husband Justin, Chastity Brooke Brooks with husband Matt, Emily Holcomb with fiancé Cesar, Samuel Morrison and Cody Morrison; five great-grandchildren, Brielle, Carter, Dawson, Ember and Evan; and her beloved dog “Layla”.  She was predeceased by a son, Mike Morrison; and a sister, Pat Eudy.

Memorial services will be 12 noon Monday at Durbin Creek Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
