Don Anderson Waddell, 69, husband of Denise Bowen Waddell, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, January 21, 2024.

Mr. Waddell was born in Kings Mountain, NC to the late Benjamin Anderson Waddell and Lillian Hester Waddell. He enjoyed working on cars, riding motorcycles, hunting and fishing. Don also enjoyed playing the guitar and listening to music.

Surviving, in addition to his wife are two daughters, Brandy Knight (Dwayne) and Jodie Joseph (Bill); two step-sons, Jason Mims and Chad Mims; a sister, Judy Smith (Billy); nine grandchildren, Justin Joseph, Max Knight, Zoey Knight, Jesse Mims, Sydney Evertte, Peyton Mims, Marley Mims, Ragan Barrett and Aiden Barrett and six great-grandchildren, Kaylee Dill, Adalyn Hyatt, Junior Everette, Kai Everette, Paige Mims, Colton Mims. He was predeceased by a brother, William Waddell.

A Celebration of Don’s Life will be 1 o’clock Saturday at Fletcher Funeral Service.
