Obituary of Cenaida Perez

Please share a memory of Cenaida to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Cenaida Perez, 57, wife of Gaspar Antonio Miguel for 16 years, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 8, 2024.

Mrs. Perez was born in Michoacan, Mexico to the late Genaro Perez and Eufemia Reyes. Cenaida prided herself by cooking and baking delicious meals for her loved ones. She enjoyed being outside tending to her chickens and using her green thumb on her plants and flowers. She treasured her time with her beloved shih-tzu Mimi. One of her greatest joys was being a Tita to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Cenaida Perez's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her kindness, love, and selflessness will be remembered and cherished by all. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth and compassion that will continue to inspire others.

Cenaida is survived a son, Omar Cortez (Reveca): four daughters, Marbella Cortez (Marco), Griselda Cortez (Juan), Elvia Cortez (Andres) and Jesenia Orihuela (Jamie): four brothers, Domingo Perez, Cristobal Perez, Leonel Perez, Saul Perez: two sisters, Isabel Gutierrez, Juana Gutierrez: twenty-four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the family’s residence, 110 Rasor Dr, Greenville SC 29617.

A Celebration of Cenaida’s Life will be held 1:00pm on Tuesday at San Sebastian Catholic Church.
