Obituary of Andrea Fine

Please share a memory of Andrea to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Andrea Stafford Fine finally won her battle with ovarian cancer at

12:17pm on February 15th, 2024. She was born as the first of four

children, on November 20th, 1950 in Greenville, South Carolina to the

late Faye Friddle Stafford and John Andrew (Andy) Stafford.

She had a nearly 30 year career with Bellsouth that took her from

South Carolina  to Alabama and eventually to Florida.  Upon retirement

and in her true “can’t sit still fashion”, her career still continued.

She worked for Fishel in Florida and later for Lowe’s in South

Carolina once they selected their final home on Lake Greenwood.

Growing up, bowling was a favorite family pastime with a feature once

being in the local paper regarding the “family affair”.  She enjoyed

time with family above all else.  So many cherished memories were made

at last minute family cookouts, on vacations and simply cruising

around on the lake.  Andrea loved knitting, quilting, macrame, working

in the yard and home renovation projects.  She also had a passion for

all animals. She was known as Mama to her children, Wawa to her

grandchildren and Babe to her husband.  Her favorite of these

nicknames was Wawa.

Andrea leaves behind her husband, Louie McKinley Fine, of 28 years.

Her daughters Cynthia Saracino and husband Joe of Fayetteville,

Georgia; Jennifer Fain and husband Chris of Greenville, South;  Amy

Hutto of Waterloo, South Carolina; a step-daughter, Katie Stamper and

husband Jason; two sisters, Susan “Becky” Orders and Victoria “Vicki”

Reid; seven grandchildren, Emily, Kylie, Jacob, Aaron, Brady, Grace,

Gaby; two step-grandchildren Channing and Liana; a very special aunt

Pat Howard and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was

predeceased by a brother, John “Johnny” Stafford II.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2 o’clock Saturday at  Fletcher

Funeral Service at 1218 N. Main Street in Fountain Inn, South

Carolina. The family will receive friends an hour prior.  The family

requests that attendees wear brightly colored attire rather than black

to the service.  Teal and coral were among Andrea’s favorite colors.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The

National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, https://ovarian.org.
