Bobbie Jean Lane Mattison, 91, widow of Colon Wyatt Mattison, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 31, 2024.
Mrs. Mattison was born in Woodruff, SC to the late Henry Lee Lane and Lottie Esther Jackson Lane. She was a member of Open Book Baptist Church. Bobbie Jean was a graduate of Hager Cosmetology School and retired as the owner of Sheer Elegance Hair Design in Lexington, KY.
Surviving are two daughters, Vickie Johnson and Darlene Treadaway; two brothers, Herbert Lane and Jerry Lane; two sisters, Priscilla Ann McMahan and Margie Louise Durham; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Bobbie Jean will be interred with Colon in the Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery in Anderson, SC.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Hospital for Children, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
