Obituary of June Templeton

Miriam June Tunstall Templeton, 91, widow of Jack Martin Templeton, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 10, 2024.

Mrs. Templeton was born in Laurens to the late Roy Octava Putnam and Mildred Louise Fuller Putnam. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed her flower gardens, bird watching and fishing. She also enjoyed shopping and trips to the beach and mountains with family and friends.

Surviving, are two daughters, Miriam Williams with her husband Dennis, and Lynda Caudle with her husband Wesley; a daughter-in-law, Brenda Templeton; four grandchildren, Scott Campbell and wife Cindy, Shannon Rentz and husband Billy, Horace Martin III, and Christopher Caudle; seven great-grandchildren, Morgan, Graham, Griffin, Brandon, Greylyn, Gabrielle, and Dallas; and one great-great-granddaughter, Addison. She was predeceased by two sons, Jackie Templeton, and Sammy Templeton; and a sister Dot Wilson.

A Graveside service will be held two o’clock Saturday in the Laurens City Cemetery.
