Dr. Janice Adele Grisham Meyer, Ph.D., 87, widow of John Leonard Meyer, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 16, 2024.
Mrs. Meyer was born in Alton, IL to the late George Grisham and Josephine Skaggs Grisham. She was an alumna of Southern Illinois University, California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and the University of Oregon. Teaching was Janice’s passion and she retired as a Professor with Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She was an avid reader but also enjoyed knitting, crocheting and cooking.
Surviving are a daughter, Noelle Tracy; and four grandchildren, Stone Tracy with wife Kayla, Slate Tracy with fiancée Mckayla, Brette Tracy and Beck Tracy.
Services will be private.
