Joy Carnell Hines, 44, wife of Kevin Derrick Hines, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, April 24, 2024.

Mrs. Hines was born in Spartanburg to Russell Harry Carnell and the late Laura Frances O’Shields Carnell. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. Joy loved traveling, gardening, and painting, but her greatest love was her family.

Surviving, in addition to her husband and father, are four sons, Justin Carnell, Jude Powell, Eric Hines and Dayton Hines; three daughters, Regan Anderson (Justin), Abigail Degnitz and Chasity Hines; a brother, Johnny Owens; a sister, Tina Owens and a granddaughter, Magnolia Anderson.

Funeral Services will be 2:30pm Friday at Antioch Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one and a half hours prior to the service.
