Nancy Frances Traverse Plath, 74, wife of Michael John “Mike” Plath for 42 years, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 18, 2024.

Mrs. Plath was born in Somerville, MA to the late Walter Francis Traverse and Violet Mary Grace Traverse. She was a member of Fountain Inn First Baptist Church. Nancy retired from Faurecia. She enjoyed yardsales, drinking tea, watching Young & Restless, and arts & crafts. She was a collector of Santa Clause figurines and porcelain masquerade masks. Nancy and Mike enjoyed Puerto Vallarta, Mexico as their favorite getaway.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are four children, Troy Plath with wife Ronda, Liza Mimnaugh with husband Lanty, Shane Plath with wife Liz, and Michele Plath with companion Patrick; a brother, Skip Traverse; a sister, Paula Charlton with husband Jay; nine grandchildren, Daniel Gentile, April Adair with husband Chase, Jimmy Neves, Tristan Richard with husband Blake, Blaze Fortner with wife Taylor, Angie Plath, Jagger Plath, Mickayla Plath and Kasper Plath; and twelve great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Janet Lynn.

Services will be private.
