Freda Elaine Cox Raines Tyner, 69, went to be with the Lord, Friday, July 19, 2024.

Ms. Tyner was born in Simpsonville to the late T.J. Cox and Lois Frances Barbery Cox. She loved playing pool, cards and coloring apps on her phone. Freda was a USC Gamecock fan and loved being Nana to her grandkids.

Surviving, are a daughter, Erica Leigh Raines; a brother, Terry Cox (Jane); a sister, Carol Payne (Larry); three grandchildren, Austin Lawrence (Jordan Burger), Dakota Lawrence (Mitchel Sanders) and Haley Tyner; her best friends, Libby Roach and Vickey Brinson; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two daughters, Shanna Jean Johnson and Jennifer Elaine Raines; a brother, Pete Cox and a sister, Jerry “Sister” Gault.

A Celebration of Freda’s Life will be 3pm Saturday at Fletcher Funeral Service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
