Obituary of Mittie Jane Allen Howard

Mittie Jane Allen Howard, 78, wife of Joe Perry Howard, passed away at Southern Oaks Personal Care Home, June 20, 2017 after two years of illness.

Mrs. Howard was born in Greer to the late John J. and Mittie Lanford Allen.

Surviving, in addition to her husband are a step-son, Terry Howard; step-daughter, Cynthia Davis (Lynn); four grandchildren, TJ Howard (Hannah), Mindy McCall (Rob Whitmire), Thomas Davis and Perry Davis; four great-grandchildren, Addyson, Grayson, and Raelynn Howard and Trip McCall and many nieces and nephews she adored. She was predeceased by five brothers, William, Ralph, Hosea, Huey and Joe Allen and two sisters, Edith Carver and Mary Roddy.

Visitation will be 6-8pm Thursday at Fletcher Funeral Service.

Graveside services will be 11am Friday at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
