Scott Simmons Obituary
Scott Marlin Simmons, 54, husband of Shelia Cagle, died unexpectedly, Thursday, July 25, 2024.
Mr. Simmons was born in Gastonia, NC to the late Mathis Adolphus Simmons and Mildred Annette Neal Simmons. He was a “Jack-of-all-trades” and loved to fish.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons, Terry Ghorley and Michael Washburn; four daughters, Amber Simmons, Cheyanne Simmons, Tonya Cagle (Patrick Evans) and Rebecca Cagle (Brittan Oliver); a brother, Bobby Simmons (Mandy); a sister, Rhonda Crowder (Don); nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Tony Simmons.
The family will receive friends from 4-6pm Sunday at Fletcher Funeral Service.
