Obituary of Mike Lacy

Michael Duane “Mike” Lacy, 70, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 13, 2024.

Mr. Lacy was born in Charleston, WV to Willaim Edward “Bill” Lacy and the late Bernice Bragg Lacy. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and playing the guitar. Mike was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He also was a long-haul truck driver and security guard.

Surviving, in addition to his father, is a son, Mikey Lacy, Jr. (Rachel); a brother, Gene Lacy (Sheila); two sisters, Barbara Jeffers and Ann Byrd; a step-brother, Jerry Coffin (Brenda); two daughters, April Ramey and Hope Lucas; eight grandchildren, Michael Lacy III, Brittany Lambey (Bradley), William Lacy, Raymond Ramey III, Angela Ramey, Bill Ramey, William Lucas III, and Madison Lucas; seven great-grandchildren, Elias Lambey, Sophia Lambey, Marie Lambey, Scarlette McComas, Sabrina McComas, P.E. McComas, Levi Ramey Corbin. In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by a granddaughter, Karra Lucas; and a nephew, Craig McCallister.

The family will receive friends 1-2pm Monday at Fletcher Funeral Service. Funeral services will be held 2 o’clock Monday at Fletcher Funeral Service. Burial, with military honors will follow at Graceland East Memorial Park.
