Obituary of Linda Brown

Linda Pearl Grogan Brown, wife of Roy Dulaney Brown for 50 years, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 17, 2024.

Mrs. Brown was born in Clinton to the late Horace Grogan and Minnie Lee Norwood Grogan.  She enjoyed cooking, gardening and working in the yard.  Linda was a peacekeeper at heart and cherished her family.  She loved animals and was a collector of blankets.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two daughters, Melisa Brown (Jamie) and Cindy Stone (Dennis); and two sisters, Mary Powell and Shelby Tucker.  She was predeceased by three brothers, Joe Grogan, Bill Grogan and James Grogan; and a sister, Margaret Grogan.

Visitation will be 5 – 7 o’clock Monday at Fletcher Funeral Service.

Graveside services will be 3 o’clock Tuesday in the Gray Court Town Cemetery.
