Susan Kay “Sue” Gillespie Campbell, 76, wife of James Harold Campbell for 57 years, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 18, 2024.
Mrs. Campbell was born in Woodruff to the late Jule Wilson Gillespie and Mary Louise Glenn Gillespie. She was a member of the Methodist Church of Simpsonville. Sue retired from Kemet Electronics. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, and shopping at antique malls. She was a collector of Precious Moments figurines.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a daughter, Angie Kirkland with husband Jamie; and a grandson, Matthew Kirkland. She was predeceased by two sisters, Judy Littlefield and Linda Dunaway.
Visitation will be 5 - 7 pm Wednesday at Fletcher Funeral Service.
A Celebration of Sue’s Life will be 1:30 pm Thursday at Methodist Church of Simpsonville, officiated by the Rev. Dr. Mike Smith. Burial will be in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
