Santos De La Rosa Obituary

Mr. De La Rosa was born in Halingen, TX to the late Santos De La Rosa, Sr. and Olga Medina. He enjoyed soccer, dancing, working on cars and working the farm. His greatest joy was building muscle cars. Santos played the accordion and was a talented singer. He was loud and full of energy. He was the center-of-attention and was known for his over-the-top whistling. Santos never missed an opportunity to enjoy his favorite food – fajitas.




Surviving are nine sons, Santos De La Rosa with wife Nicole, Jose A De La Rosa with wife Isaura, Reynaldo De La Rosa, Roberto De La Rosa with wife Aorita, Rodolfo De La Rosa with wife Monze, Esequiel De La Rosa, Michael De La Rosa and Adam Solesbee; two daughters, Laura De La Rosa and Maria Inez; two brothers, Carlos Lozano and George Perez; a sister, Maria Lozano; and grandchildren, Laura De La Rosa, Bruce Espinoza, Joshua Ramey, Angel A De La Rosa, Miriam I De La Rosa, Santos De La Rosa, J Roberto De La Rosa, Anadely De La Rosa, Paula De La Rosa, Emily De La Rosa, Elijah De La Rosa, Mateo De La Rosa, Rodolfo De La Rosa Jr, Enzo De La Rosa, Max De La Rosa, Dalila De La Rosa, Athena De La Rosa, Maria Jose De La Rosa, and Evelyn Inez Combs. He was predeceased by a son, Jerry De La Rosa.




The family will receive friends between 9 am–3 pm Wednesday and Funeral services will be 3 ‘clock Wednesday at Fletcher Funeral Service – Woodruff.




Burial will be in Heritage Memorial Gardens in Roebuck.
