Obituary of Imojean Simmons

Jessie Imojean Bible Simmons, widow of LeRoy Simmons, went to be with the Lord, September , 2024.

Mrs. Simmons was born in Laurens County to the late Ervin Jones and Myrtle Bible.  She was a member of Laurens Church of God and enjoyed being active in different areas of the church when she was able.  Imojean was feisty and loved her family, but her greatest love was being Nanny to her grandchildren.

Surviving, are a daughter, Pam Lawson; two grandchildren, Chasity Redd (Johnny Powers) and John Lawson (Tonya); six great-grandchildren, River Lawson, Jordan Lawson, Shawn Simmons, Marcus Simmons, Devon Redd and Donovan West and eight great-great-grandchildren, King Simmons, Eliyah Anderson, Ka’Shawn Simmons, Ne’Vaeh Simmons, Marcellus Simmons, Kaiden Simmons, Amarion Simmons and Karter Simmons.  She was predeceased by a son, Ronnie LeRoy Simmons; a daughter, Linda Gail Nabors; three brothers, Otis Young, Joe Young and Dennis Barrett and a grandson, Kevin Nabors.
