Margaret Lou Ball Bush, 78, widow of Harold Poe Bush, Jr, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, September 8, 2024.

Mrs. Bush was born in Snow Hill, NC to the late Johnny Baptist Ball, Jr. and Margaret Aleen Gray . She was a member of Word of Life Ministries and loved talking about God. Margaret loved to read and bake and her favorite holiday was Christmas. Her greatest love was being “Marmee” to her grandchildren.

Surviving, are two daughters, Sherry Barnett (Vincent) and Kimberly Gamble; two sisters, Barbara Garish and Sydney Swanson; six grandchildren, Lorraine Oliver (Jimmy), Michael Kilburn, Kara Martin (Brandon), Sara Paxton (Cole), Ashley Harris (Jason) and Crystal Adams (Darin) and sixteen great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Robert Ball and two sisters, Faye Stiemel and Mary Dunn.

A Celebration of Margaret’s Life will be 2 o’clock Friday at Fletcher Funeral Service. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
