Obituary of Ed Gault, Jr.

Charles Edward “Ed” Gault, Jr., 45, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 23, 2024. 

Mr. Gault was born in Sumter, SC to Charles Edward Gault, Sr. and Kathryn Elizabeth “Kathy” Jennings Gault.  He was a veteran of the US Army and a member of the VFW.  Ed enjoyed being a Soldier and got his first taste of international travel during his time in service.  He worked for Greenville County Parks & Recreation.  Ed enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading, woodworking and flower gardening.  He was a member of Masonic Lodge #192 and the HEJAZ Shrine Club. 

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are two sons, Charlie Gault III with wife Madi, and Jordan Wamsley; two daughters, Jocelyn Gault and Tori Gault; and a brother, Brian Gault.

Visitation will be 5 – 7 o’clock Monday at Fletcher Funeral Service. 

A Celebration of Ed’s Life will be 2 o’clock Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial, with Military Honors, will be in Cannon Memorial Park.
