Tyler Wendell Thackston, 33, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 7, 2024.
Tyler was born in Greenville to Gerald Wendell Thackston and Rhonda Renee Merck Thackston. He enjoyed the outdoors and sports such as hunting, fishing, snowboarding, golfing and softball.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a daughter, Emerson Davis; two sisters, Allison Rhodes (Casey), Danyel Fults (Justin Harms); paternal grandmother, Freddie Thackston; maternal grandmother, Rose Malea Merck and five nieces and nephews, Ryan Fults, Landon Fults, Callie Rhodes, Cambry Rhodes and Colton Rhodes. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Gerald Thackston and maternal grandfather, George Merck.
The receiving of friends will be between 12 noon – 2 o’clock Sunday at Fletcher Funeral Service. A Celebration of Tyler’s Life will begin at 2 o’clock, officiated by David Crawford. Burial will follow at Cannon Memorial Park.
