Obituary of Lilian Singh

Lilian Subryan Singh, 77, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 9, 2024.

Ms. Singh was born in Georgetown, Guyana to the late Leonard Subryan and Etwaria Persaud Subryan.  She was a member of Saint Mary Magdalene Catholic Church.  Lilian was a graduate of the Carnegie Culinary School.  She enjoyed knitting and sewing.  She loved to travel and cherished the opportunity to go for long rides throughout the community.

Surviving are a son, Vick Singh with wife Evonne; a daughter, Indira Lall with husband Mike; a brother, Michael Subryan; three sisters, Angela Hoy with husband Bill, Theresa Persaud with husband Ronald, and Sharon Williams with husband David; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Singh with husband Peter, Michael Lall with wife Kim, Stacie Singh with husband Eric, David Lall with wife Kennedy, and Ashley Singh; and eight great-grandchildren, Emily, Sky, Sofia, Miles, Savannah, Liam, Noah and Nora.  She was predeceased by a son, Mahendra Singh; a daughter, Nadira Gopoian; and a brother, Richard Subryan.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 o’clock Thursday at Saint Mary Magdalene Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in Graceland East Memorial Park.
