Annie Bergfalk Obituary

Annie Ruth Babb Bergfalk, 79, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 14, 2024.

Ms. Bergfalk was born in Greenville to the late Clifton Lee “Jack” Babb and Lillie Mae Bryant Babb. She loved spending time with her family and cherished being “MeMe” to her grandchildren. Annie liked shopping trips to Goodwill and checking out the deals at the flea market and yard sales. She was fiercely independent and valued her ability to remain self-supportive. Annie enjoyed the beach and the occasional “scratch-off” card.

Surviving are two daughters, Ashley Ballew and Kelly Bergfalk; two brothers, Randall Babb and Leon Babb with wife Frances; a sister, Patsy Coble; and two grandchildren, Walker Lockey with fiancé Madison, and Addison Jordan. She was predeceased by a brother, Ronnie Babb; and two sisters, Earlene Switzer and Joyce Babb.

A Celebration of Annie’s Life will begin at 2 o’clock Saturday at Fletcher Funeral Service. The family will receive friends following the service.
