Misty Jean Smith Miller, 59, of Central, S.C., went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 21, 2024.
Born in Simpsonville, she was the daughter of the late Archie J. Smith and the late Verla J. Smith. Ms. Miller finished Hillcrest High School and attended Greenville Technical College. She was a secretary for the S.C. Department of Corrections and worked many years for the Pickens County School District. She enjoyed making wedding cakes, sewing, embroidery, and many other arts and crafts for other people.
Ms. Miller is survived by two sons, Ryan Miller (Ashley) of Boiling Springs and Charles Miller (Christina) of Waterloo; eight grandchildren, Abigail, Malachi, Chloe, Noah, and Hannah, Parker, Carleigh, and Kinsleigh; and one sister, Tina H. Snow (John).
Graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at 2 o’clock at Cannon Memorial Park in Fountain Inn, S.C.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
