Dana was one of the best friends I've ever had. She had such a big heart, took care of everyone she loved, and had such a beautiful soul. We shared many good times together full of laughter, deep conversations, and I always enjoyed being around her. One of my favorite memories of us is just hanging out together on her back porch, grilling steaks, and talking and laughing together. Dana, I will never forget your smile or your beautiful face. I miss you dearly already but will never forget all of the good times we had together. I know you are in a better place and are smiling down on all of us now. I love you! Rest in Heaven, beautiful!

I have so many memories of her as a little girl particularly once she moved into “Grandma’s house” in woodruff. Like her sweet mama she was always full of life and loving spirits. I was an older cousin (with an age difference of about 10 years). Still we would visit often as her dad, Carl father and my father were brothers. In those days my last memory of Dana was at my wedding over 30 years ago- I still have the recorded video of the wedding with so many loved one’s who have also passed on. The last time I saw Dana was at my own brother’s funeral- Allen. He also passed away too soon at the age 49 years old. We got a moment to speak to each other- and she was a beautiful inside and out as always. She looked so much like her mother. She had told me I hadn’t changed a bit but she was the one who looked liked the Dana I always knew. Cousins grow up and grow apart creating our own little families. But there is always something special about sweet childhood memories of family time with our cousins. I will cherish the sweet memories of her until we see each other again. Prayers to her family particularly to her children as I know you have lost her too soon. You will see her again one day.
