Obituary of Rachel Brown

Rachel Beaman Brown, 82, widow of Ernest Deloma Brown, went to be with the Lord on, Thursday January 2, 2025.

Mrs. Brown was born in Simpsonville to late James Andrew Beaman and Nellie Etta White Beaman. Rachel was a member of Emmanuel Praise & Worship Center. She enjoyed crafts, dancing, and loved gardening.

Surviving, are three sons, Donnie Smith (Kathy), Gary Smith, and Wesley Smith (Susan Moore); a brother, Jack Beaman (Helen); three grandchildren, Jeana Smith, Jessie Smith, and Hannah Smith; and two great-grandchildren, Talley Smith and Kalani Spence.

A Celebration of Rachel’s life will be held 3 o’clock Sunday at Emmanuel Praise & Worship Center, officiated by Pastor Ron Rhodes. The family will receive friends an hour prior.
