Thomas Andrew Bobchak, Sr., 90, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 31, 2024. Born in Berwick, PA, he was a son of the late John Joseph and Ellen Kishbaugh Bobchak. Tom faithfully served his country in The United States Marine Corps for over 27 years. After retiring from the Marines, he took up carpentry and cabinetry and his handywork can be found in numerous houses in the Simpsonville area. He enjoyed reading in his spare time, in particular he enjoyed reading books and articles about history.
Tom is survived by his son, Tom Bobchak, Jr. (Bettina); two daughters, Beverly (Jeanie) Cantor (Danny Canini) and Mary Carter; a step-son, Steve Litaker; and his sister, Shirley Martz. In addition to his wife of 44 years, Shirley Clarry Bobchak, Tom was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Victor Bobchak.
A graveside service with full military honors will be at Graceland East Memorial Park on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 beginning at 1:00 pm.
