Obituary of Barbara Tate Dixon

Barbara Tate Hart Dixon, 78, wife of Don Dixon, passed away Friday, September 8, 2017.

Mrs. Dixon was the daughter of Beatrice Pennington Jackson and the late William “Bill” Jackson of Simpsonville and a member of Temple Baptist Church.

Surviving, in addition to her husband and mother, are a daughter, Ashley Hart; three grandchildren, Christopher Herman, Tori Herman and Nathaniel Morgan; and two great-grandchildren, Teagan Ferdon and Hayes Bishop. She was predeceased by a son, Greg Hart; and a daughter, Cathy Herman.

Funeral services will be 2pm Wednesday at Fletcher Funeral service, officiated by Rev. Brett Aiken.  The family will receive friends one hour prior. Burial will follow at Cannon Memorial Park.
