Donice “DeeDee” McClain, 51, went to be with the Lord Saturday, December 30, 2017. Ms. McClain was born in Durham, NC to Sylvia “Jo” Tinsley Padgett and the late Robert S. Smith, Sr. She loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed music. Surviving, in addition to her mother, are a son, Austin Collier; daughter, Amber McClain Stites; two grandchildren, Aaliyah McClain and Tinsley Smith; three brothers, Daniel Barrett (Donna), Gregory Barrett and Robbie Smith, Jr. (Lila); two sisters, Kim Wilson and Tina Cabrera and several nieces. Memorial Services will be 6pm Friday, January 5th, at Fletcher Funeral Service.
