Obituary of Mack Malcolm Gault Sr

Rev. Mack M. Gault, Sr., 78, husband of Brenda Fowler Gault for 51 years, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 21, 2016. Rev. Gault was born in Simpsonville to the late Benjamin Shaw Gault and Annie “Claudia “ Case Gault. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from CloWhite, Inc. He was an alumnus of North Greenville College and Furman University. He preached in S.C. and Georgia, and preached on WFIS during Saturday mornings. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Mack Gault Jr and wife Adrian; a daughter, Kimber Cates and husband Tommy; three brothers, Rev. Hugh Lee Gault, Dr. Ben Gault, and Emory Gault; three grandchildren, Amber Robinson and husband Alex, Cadence Cates, and Zack Gault; a great-grandchild, Autumn Robinson; special cousins, Jack and Carolyn Case; and a special niece, Cathy Stephens. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Fletcher Funeral Service. A Celebration of Mack’s Life will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fletcher Funeral Service. Burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
