Obituary of Julia Louise Marchbanks

Julia Louise “Julie” Thompson Marchbanks, 50, wife of William Guy “Billy” Marchbanks, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 24, 2018.

Mrs. Marchbanks was born in Charleston to William Edward Thompson and Nancy Holley McKee Thompson.   She was a member of Oakpoint Church and an alumna of Tri-County Technical College.  Julie enjoyed music and hummingbirds.  She was a natural computer whiz.

Surviving, in addition to her husband and parents, are two daughters, Nicki Marchbanks and fiancé Charles Stewart, and Dani Marchbanks and boyfriend Charles Hickman; a brother, J. Thompson; and a grandson, Colton Stewart.

Visitation will be 4-5:30 p.m. Sunday at Fletcher Funeral Service.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, followed by burial in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
