Johnny Mack Hughes, 75, husband of Susan Montjoy Hughes for 24 years, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 28, 2016.
Mr. Hughes was born in Gray Court to the late Raymond Calvin Hughes and Clara Mae Dockery Hughes. He retired from Fisher Barton. Johnny enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and racing.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons, David Hughes and C.J. Montjoy; two daughters, Holly Higgins and Tonya Hughes; a brother, Wayne Hughes and wife Frances; two sisters, Ann Hughes-Fua and husband Lance, and Jeanette Templeton; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Fletcher Funeral Service.
A Celebration of Johnny’s Life will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Chad Jordan.
