Obituary of Rev. Hugh Lee Gault

Rev. Hugh Lee Gault, 83, husband of Beverly Gault, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 29, 2018.

 

Rev. Gault was born in Fountain Inn to the late  Shaw Gault and Annie Elizabeth Case Gault.  He retired from Sanderson Farms and was an alumnus of Clemson University.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a member of Redemption World Outreach.

 

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Marion Gault-Ward and husband Steve; three sons, Mark Stratton and wife Brenda, Todd Stratton, and Ryan Stratton and wife Kelly; two brothers and their wives, Dr. Ben and Dot Gault, and Emory and Jeanne Gault; a sister-in-law, Brenda Gault; eight grandchildren, Rob Curry, Pat Curry, Lee Curry, Melanie Jenkins, Jake Gault, Jot Gault, Hannah Stratton, and Megan Stratton; and seven great-grandchildren, Cheyenne Curry, RC Curry, Zander Curry, Elizabeth Crry, Case Curry, Francesca Curry, and Danny Jenkins.  He was predeceased by his first wife, Geraldine Gary Gault; a son, Gary Gault; and a brother, Rev. Mack Gault.

 

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday at Fletcher Funeral Service.

 

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.  Burial, with Military Honors, will be in Cannon Memorial Park.
