Obituary of Harold Junior Smith

Harold J. Smith, 72, husband of Katherine Craine Smith, went to be with the Lord, Friday, June 8, 2018.

 

Mr. Smith was born in Anderson to the late James Franklin and Eva Christain Smith.  He was a farmer and loved fishing and the mountains.

 

Surviving, in addition to his wife are a son, Danny Smith; eight grandchildren, Kim Smith, DJ Smith, Brittany Smith, Michelle Smith, Anna Smith, Michaela Smith, Jonathan Smith and Jimmy Campbell; four great-grandchildren, Brantley Putman, Maddison Putman, Natalie Putman and Jamison Campbell; three sisters, Evelyn Garcia, Mary Dutton and Kathleen Smith and  a daughter-in-law, Ann Payne (Michael).  He was predeceased by two sons, Wayne Smith and David Smith; a daughter, Deborah Smith; three brothers, Leroy Smith, Dale Smith and James Smith and three sisters, Agnes Seigers, Sara Clampett and Eula Mae Brown. 

 

Visitation will be 4-6pm Sunday at Fletcher Funeral Service.

 

Funeral Services will be 2pm Monday at Fletcher Funeral Service.  Burial will follow at Cannon Memorial Park.

 

The family would like to say a special thanks to Providence Care Hospice and their nurse Selissa Thompson for all their hospitality.
