Obituary of Joel Richard Bryant

Joel Richard Bryant, 72, husband of Jewel Parnell Bryant, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 13, 2018.

Joel was born to the late Lisbon Carlton Bryant and Lucille Dutton Bryant. He was a member of Victory Chapel Baptist Church in Conestee. He loved camping, fishing and playing golf.

Surviving, in addition to his wife are a son, James Bryant of Mauldin; three grandchildren, Brittany Bryant of Mauldin, Lauren Bryant Pirkle (Phillip) of Pelzer, and Tanner Bryant of Mauldin; a brother, Ferrell Bryant (Connie) of Greenwood; two sisters-in-law, Doris Bryant of Denver, CO and Clarice Bryant of Greenwood. He is also survived by a special friend and fishing buddy, brother-in-law Louie A. Parnell and a special sister-in-law, Katherine B. Parnell, both of Myrtle Beach. He was predeceased by two brothers, Frank Bryant and James C Bryant; and a sister, Betty Graham.

Funeral Services will be 11am Monday in the mausoleum chapel at Graceland East Cemetery. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service.
