Obituary of Inez Capps Moon

Inez Capps Moon, 98, widow of Henry Leroy Moon, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 19, 2018.

Mrs. Moon was born in Seneca to the late William Henry Capps and Fannie Graham Capps. She was a member of Mauldin First Baptist Church and the Faith Sunday School Class. Inez enjoyed working in the yard and participating in the Senior Club activities at the Ray Hopkins Center.

Surviving are a daughter, Brenda Weaver; two grandchildren, Scott Weaver and wife Jackie, and Lisa Cain and husband Don; and six great-grandchildren, Melissa Carter and husband Josh, Brett Weaver, Morgan Cain, Madison Cain, Nick Cain and Jacob Cain. She was predeceased by two brothers, A.C. Capps and Hubert Capps; three sisters, Pansy Goodwin, Lilla McDonald and Josephine Ragsdale; and a son-in-law, Richard Weaver.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Woodlawn Memorial Park, officiated by Rev. Wade Leonard. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
