Obituary of Jane Fowler Owens

Jane Fowler Owens, 70, wife of Frankie Owens for 50 years, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 27, 2018.

 

Mrs. Owens was born in Simpsonville to the late Drew Harold “Doodle” Fowler and Dorcas Aluwee Watson Fowler.  She retired from Para-Chem and was a graduate of Greenville Technical College.  She was a member of Simpsonville First Baptist Church and the Challengers Sunday School class.  Jane was an avid reader and enjoyed music.  For many years, she sang gospel music with her father and sister, and later sang in the Senior Choir at church. 

 

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a daughter, Tina Owens; four brothers and their wives, Alton and Lynda Fowler, Grady and Judy Fowler, Wayne and Mary Jane Fowler, and Lynn and Keaver Fowler; a sister, Betty Goodwin and husband David; and two grandchildren, Ryan Roy and Madison Roy.

 

Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Simpsonville First Baptist Church.  Entombment will follow in Cannon Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends in the chapel for one hour prior to the service.
