Obituary of Viola Gray Nash

Viola Gray Nash, 91, loving wife of George Lee Nash for 72 years, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, July 22, 2018.

Mrs. Nash was born in Campobello to the late Benjamin Lowell Gray and Rachel Holden Gray.  She went back to school later in life and graduated nursing school as an LPN at the age of 54, and she worked for many doctors and hospitals until her retirement. She was a member of Fountain Inn First Baptist Church and loved being Nannie.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son, Ronnie Nash (Susan); daughter, Donna Laakkonen (Billy); four grandchildren, Hayley Bennett (Jason), Seth Laakkonen, Megan Wrenn (Justin) and Brandon Nash and four great-grandchildren, Chandler Bennett, Carson Bennett, Justin Eubanks and Kynlee Wrenn.  She was the last surviving sibling of her family.

Entombment will be 10am Tuesday at Cannon Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
