Obituary of Frances Mobley Hall

Frances Beatrice Mobley Hall, 83, widow of Jack Taylor Hall, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 20, 2018.

Mrs. Hall was born in Union Point, GA to the late Eugene Frank Mobley and Florence Beatrice Streetman Mobley. With Jack, she founded and operated the Golden Nugget Restaurant for many years. After retiring from the restaurant, she delivered newspapers, a job that she dearly loved. Frances loved her family and being “Ma” to everyone. She enjoyed cooking and playing Tetris. She was a collector of Beanie Babies and Avon bottles.

Surviving are a son, Jerry Hall and wife Kathy; three daughters, Emily Brannon and husband Bob, Beth Keller, and Stephanie LaBelle and husband Richie; thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and her precious dogs, Susie, Mikey, and Charlie. She was predeceased by a son, Rudolph Hall; two brothers, Harold Mobley and Gene Mobley; a sister, Mildred Moody; and a grandson, Robby Brannon.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday at Fletcher Funeral Service.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Mike Greer. Burial will be in Graceland East Cemetery.

Our family would like to express a sincere “thank you” to the staff at Hospice of South Carolina. Your compassionate care of Ma touched our heart and will never be forgotten.

The family is at the home of Richie and Stephanie LaBelle, 8 Norwell Lane in Greenville.
