Obituary of Charles Alvin Schultz

Charles Alvin “Tip” Schultz, 86, husband of Mary Ann Owens Schultz for 62 years, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 25, 2018.

Mr. Schultz was born in Fountain Inn to the late George Schultz Sr. and Mae Garrett Schultz.  He was the founder of J&S Appliance Service and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.  He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Robbie Schultz; a daughter, Annette Brancati and husband Niles; five grandchildren, Zac Cariens, Darby Baum and husband Nate, Jordi Mayes and husband Hal, Graci Schultz, and Michael Brancati; and two great-grandchildren, Hartley Mayes and Boone Mayes.  

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday in the mausoleum at Cannon Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
